The goal of The Schatzi Foundation is to acquire, house, train, then donate professionally trained and certified therapy dogs to institutions and private indivuals who have a need, but have no budget for or cannot afford one. The Schatzi Foundation will donate , free of charge to qualified applicants.
Our plan is to build a new fully equipped kennel building to house and train the dogs. We will network with humane society's, animals shelters, dog rescue groups, animal control adoptions and donations from private breeders, to acquire dogs for our program.
It should be noted that while many dogs provide love and companionship in the home, not are all qualified or have suitable temperaments to be a therapy dog. The Schatzi Foundation standards pertaining to temperament of the potential therapy dog is extremely high. This is a serious position which requires specific training to promote healing in a health care facility or a private indivual.

This is the future site for The Schatzi Foundation Kennel & Training facility. The Schatzi Foundation's plan is to build a new fully equipped 10 run indoor/outdoor kennel , complete with kitchen , grooming room, office, reception and spacious training area.
